Punto Sargento estuary and mangrove swamp

The largest mangrove swamp in the northern part of Sonora. Amazingly for its size also the northern-most mangroves on the west coast of North America. There are a few scattered groups of mangrove trees in the area and a few kilometers north of this large estuary, but this spot is a hundred times bigger than anything else in the region.
