Pinal Mountains

The Pinal Mountains are certainly a Sky Island, but whether they are part of the Madrean Sky Islands is debatable. They harbor ponderosa pine, white fir and aspen. They're affinity is more to the north than other southern Arizona Sky Islands, with heavy chapparal lower on the mountain.
